Baltimore County

Baltimore County is in the heart of Maryland along I-95 and surrounds the city of Baltimore.  The county has the third largest land area, the third largest populations with more than 825,000 residents and the second highest number of jobs in Maryland.  Baltimore County has 612 square miles of land and a deep-water port that provides economic activities along with manufacturing, health, and business services.  Baltimore County is home to historic neighborhoods with shopping districts, over 200 miles of beautiful waterfront along the tributaries of the Chesapeake Bay, 21,000 equine-related acres, six family-owned wineries, 1,200 restaurants, cafes, bistros and diners, upscale malls and six local craft breweries. Baltimore County is known for the equestrian sports of steeplechasing, horse racing, fox hunting and jousting, the official state sport.  Baltimore County is a vibrant, diverse community that offers something for everyone.
